About Letters of Recommendation
Letters of Recommendation are waived for applicants who are a:
- Resident Leadership Forum nominee
- AAOS/OREF/ORS Clinician Scientist Development Program past nominee or participant
- AOA Traveling Fellow
- AOA | USC APEX Cohort Member 0r Alumni
Application Timeline
Applications are accepted and processed year-round.
Eligibility
Any orthopaedic leaders may become an AOA Emerging Leaders between their PGY5 and 13th year in clinical practice.
Automatically Eligible
- Resident Leadership Forum nominee
- AAOS/OREF/ORS Clinician Scientist Development Program past nominee or participant
- AOA Traveling Fellow
- AOA | USC APEX Leadership Certificate Program Cohort Member or Alumni
Dues Information
- $250 per year for Emerging Leaders in clinical practice.
- $125 per year for fellows and those on active military duty.
- $0 per year for residents.
